    How To Choose The Right Products For Your Vehicle…Gasoline or Diesel

1. Click onto the link below…then click in the red box...where it says, "Application Guide"...
    then type the year of your vehicle in the box…where it says…"Year."

3. Then click onto your … "Make…Model…Engine Type."(Need Help…Do not hesitate to call me @ 937-417-1127

    (Note…If you’re not already signed up as a preferred customer…when calling the Technical Dept…you’ll need

4. If you do not know your vehicle information…write down your vehicle serial number located
    on the dash in the upper left hand corner close to the windshield…you can read it by standing
    outside your vehicle…looking through the windshield.

    Then call a dealership that sells your type of vehicle…ask if they could give you a "build sheet"
    for your vehicle…give them the serial number…they can go online and find the exact specifications of your vehicle.

    a. You’ll need to know the "liter size" of your engine…is it a 4 cylinder…6 cylinder or 8 cylinder.
    b. Get your transmission type / number … is it a 3-speed…4-speed or 5-speed automatic transmission.
    c. If you have rear wheel drive…get the differential type / number (For installing Amsoils synthetic gear oil)
    d. If you have 4-wheel drive…get the differential type / number…for both differentials.

5. After clicking onto your "engine type" you’ll notice at the top right…the make of your vehicle and engine type.

6. Below that you’ll see "Filters" … Example: EaO29…this would be the number for your engine oil filter. 
    It would be a good idea to copy this information off. The letters "EaO" mean that this filter is good for 25,000 miles.

    If you do not have the "EaO" in front of the number…then it will take a "WIX" oil filter… which should be
    changed at the normal recommended oil change.

    If you’re using Amsoils synthetic oil in your engine…you would not change the oil…just the filter. You may
    have to add ½ to ¾ of a quart of oil when changing the oil filter.

7. Now scroll down to "Lubricants & Fluids" … you’ll see "Engine Oil" … and below that you’ll see
    3 or 4 different types of oil recommended for your vehicle. If the 0W-30 is listed in the three or four…always
    choose the 0W-30…it will give you better fuel mileage…and increased horsepower!

    If you have a diesel vehicle below the year 2007…15W-40 Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel is the best choice.
    If your diesel vehicle is 2007 and above…you must use the Synthetic 5W-40 Premium Diesel Oil.

    Both oils are good for 25,000 miles or once a year oil change.
